Accessible to everyone.
All my workshops are suitable for students, teachers, pastoral teams, and parents. Small groups encourage participation, peer support and cross-learning. Larger audiences tend to prefer workshops where they can listen, try out exercises, and ask questions later.
Whatever your requirement, I can help you. I take time to understand your desired learning outcome before tailoring the workshop to your needs. I also evaluate each workshop, which means you’ll be able to assess the impact in the short and longer term.
I’m experienced at running small groups and workshops at my private practice in Cheadle and Wilmslow and at schools and colleges in the North West.
“Student evaluation and feedback provided clear evidence of the positive impact Joanna had on them and the progress they made as a direct result of her intervention.”

Jargon free workshops
Here are the most popular workshops I offer:
Exam Stress: Why am I so stressed? How can I get back in control? Understand how the pressure of exam stress can affect you physically, emotionally and mindfully. Get back in charge of you, I’ll show you how. For parents and teachers, learn how you can better support students as they go through this naturally stressful time.
Mindfulness – promoting wellbeing from the inside out : This workshop is easily adapted for students and teachers who will learn quick 5-min mindfulness techniques that work. Mindfulness is well known for reducing stress and anxiety. It is easy to learn, you can do it anywhere and best of all…it’s free!
Cultivating confidence – boost your self esteem : aimed at students to support them in learning what ‘normal’ feels like. Students learn how feelings are experienced in the body, what the signals are telling them, and learn why they react the way they do. This workshop encourages grounding and helps young people to feel more confident about the choices they are making.
