Covid Safe Therapy

With your safety and wellbeing in mind, please read the updated details below on keeping both you and me, and other clients and therapists at the Affinity Centre safe.

Some new information for face to face appointments

COVID 19 Safe: The centre is cleaned and prepared with your safety in mind. Seating is arranged to respect social distancing. Please note and respect the signs you’ll see around the building.

When you enter and exit the building please use hand sanitiser. The bathrooms are not currently available. There is no waiting room.

You are welcome to wear a mask.

Please do not arrive for your appointment early. I’ve increased the time left between clients to clean, air and prepare the room. If you arrive early I will ask you to return at the start of your appointment.

Please bring a drink or bottled water (if needed), tissues and hand sanitiser with you each time and take away any rubbish at the end of your session.

Track and Trace – to respect your confidentiality, I will contact you directly should I be notified as a risk. I ask that you do the same and contact me directly as that will speed up the potential risk to other clients. By all means give my contact details to the NHS in addition.

Should either one of us not be able to attend an in-person session because of Covid, the appointment will be held online and cancellation charges still apply.

You don’t have to come into the centre to have therapy if you’re worried or if you’re self-isolating, you can have therapy via Zoom. The permanent link will take you through to my personal Zoom waiting room. You can copy/paste this link into any browser – joannagroveszoom.co.uk

If you want to have therapy this way, please let me know by text (07538 041967) and email me too on joanna@affinitycentre.co.uk. If you can tell me as early as possible it makes it easier for me to organise.

If I’m the unfortunate one that ends up self-isolating, then I will let you know and offer you a session via zoom. If I’m ill, I will tell you and cancel your session. If you have prepaid, I will refund you.

We both need to take responsibility

If you think you or anyone you live with might be infected, please go for the zoom option, it might save me and everyone else who works with me that day a lot of stress. I will also take responsibility if I feel ill and do the same.

If you wish to cancel your session, please remember the 3-day cancellation policy. I’d really appreciate it if you can give me as much notice as you can, which will help me keep my practice hours as consistent as possible.

If you do need to cancel because you need to self – isolate but you’re past the cancelation point, ring me and let’s have a conversation about it.

Stay well,

Joanna
