Fee Agreed: £120 for a 60 minute appointment. £180 for a 90 minute appointment.
You will book and pre-pay for your appointments using the online booking system, which means you can amend and cancel your appointments as needed, as well as view availability.
Cash payments by prior arrangement only.
Prices are subject to increase on January each year.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel or amend an appointment, please give me at least 3 days notice or the full fee will be charged without exception. The full fee is refundable where more than 72hrs notice has been given.
Should you not be able to attend an in-person, the appointment can be held online as an alternative, otherwise cancellation charges still apply.
If I need to cancel, I will refund you in full.
Attendance and punctuality: Given this is relationship therapy, you both need to attend the appointment. If one of you fails to attend, the session will end and the full fee will be charged.
You both agree to turn up on time to each appointment and understand that if you are late then the agreed finishing time of the session still stands.
Please turn up on time rather than early as there is no waiting room and I will not be able to let you in before your appointment time.
Session recordings: Appointments held at my offices are video recorded.
The aim is to give you the best service possible, in which I am able to revisit our work together to support you both to move forward. Ethically I am required to present my work in clinical supervision to monitor and improve my clinical work. This offers safe working environment for both client and therapist. All supervision is carried out on a confidential basis.
Recordings will be deleted at the end of each week, or immediately after the clinical supervision, whichever is sooner.
Confidentiality: The information you share with me will be kept confidential. There are however some limits to the confidentiality:
- You nor I are permitted to record online appointments (see above for in person sessions).
- There is no confidentiality agreement between me and each individual during the period of time you are in therapy with me. If one partner discloses information to me when not in the presence of the other partner, I cannot guarantee the confidentiality of details shared.
- Session notes to detail the direction and focus of the work we do together are kept in line with ethical requirements and privacy policies.
- If you or any other person are at risk of harm I reserve the right to contact external services. I will attempt to discuss my intended actions with you beforehand and reserve the right to do so without your permission.
- There are some limits to confidentiality such as criminal cases, Prevention of Terrorism and Drug Trafficking Acts.
- Online appointments are open to breaches in confidentiality beyond my control, such as cyber attacks and cookie settings. Please ensure the device you use is encrypted and secure.
Contact between sessions: To provide containment to the therapy, any messages, calls, or emails sent in between sessions will not be read/discussed until the next therapy session. This excludes contact regarding appointment updates, which you can also manage on the online booking system.
Client Responsibility: You agree to take responsibility for your own health and seek medical advice regarding any changes you make that could impact on your mental health and wellbeing. I am not qualified to give legal, financial or medical advice, though willing to discuss as part of the therapy process.
Transparency, Ethics and Professional Practice: I am a Certified Transactional Analyst - Psychotherapy (EATA), Certified Imago Relationship Therapist (IRI), and a UKCP registered psychotherapist. As a member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysts (UKATA) and the UKCP, I abide by their code of ethics and professional practice.
This agreement is fully understood and agreed and is signed as it stands. Attendance is also acceptance of this agreement whether signed or not.
